We are located in the heart of the country where Motorsports is everywhere – Mooresville, NC. Mooresville is known as “Race City USA”.
Our facility has some very interesting history. It is the former location for (John) LaCross Engine Development where clients over the years included Roush Racing, Cale Yarborough Motorsports, Robert Yates Racing and Moroso Racing. Drivers engines that were built by LaCross included Dale Jarrett, Jeff Burton, John Andretti, Ernie Irvin, Jimmy Spencer, Robby Gordon and Jeremy Mayfield. These engines John LaCross hand crafted for these drivers included restrictor plate poles and wins at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Super Speedway in ARCA, Busch Grand National and Nextel Cup Series. Our direct neighbor is a former DEI engine shop that still is owned by Teresa Earnhardt and current home to a Nascar team.
Our facility is located in the Performance Road motorsports complex in Mooresville called Mooresville Motorsports Center where approximately 50 buildings that are dedicated almost exclusively to motorsports businesses and where race teams call home including now G-LOC Brakes. The City of Mooresville has 100+ professional race teams and racing/performance related businesses that are based here including a wind tunnel. These include teams from NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA/WEC, NHRA, Dakar Rally, AMA, TORC, World of Outlaws, American Power Boat Association, and many more other smaller forms of racing. Greater Charlotte has become the center of motorsports/racing in North America, and Mooresville is at the heart of it all. We can’t think of a better place in the world to have the G-LOC Brakes™ world headquarters located at.
